I was doing some "research" on license plates in my province, and it turns out if a license plate is requested like the picture above, it will be rejected. From the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! :
Clarity and Readability for Law Enforcement Officials
Plate selections that are deemed to lack clarity or would be difficult to read. This also includes combinations with:
No more than 4 identical characters in sequence;
Interchangeable letters/numbers are not allowed (i.e. S/5, A/4, G/6, Q/O);
For example, if a plate has been issued with an “S” in its combination and an identical plate request is submitted substituting the “S” with a “5”, that plate will not be approved.
So yeah, any of you guys trying to confuse the police here won't get the chance. Probably for the better.
As an aside, yes, you can fit "Jalopnik" on a personalized Ontario license plate.

I never understood why people thought they were being so clever by getting plates like that. It's like putting a HEY, OFFICERS OF THE LAW, I'M PROBABLY UP TO SOMETHING SO PLEASE PROCEED TO FUCK WITH ME! sign on your car.
